I am responsible for the laser, and I was almost certainly on the summit during the observation... Others are responsible for the numerous other systems required to make the observations possible.

By coincidence, the lead author used the laser during this current 5 night laser run that ends tonight... (Thank god it ends tonight, because I am so tired that I am starting to see double)...
