Who said anything about Islam?
You seem to be claiming that one reason that the West is better than the Islamic world because our irrational religious zealots are "less crazy and dangerous" than their irrational religious zealots. I'm not sure I agree, and in any case, here in the USA, it's our responsibility to rein in our home grown zealots, and most happen to be Christian.
Keep in mind that most national leaders of Western nations, the most powerful and potent states, militarily, in the world, are self professed Christians. Of course, that includes our own GW Bush. That fact alone makes Christianity a very dangerous religion, and one to be watched with great vigilance.
