I moved a bunch of my higher risk 401k investments into the safer funds about a week ago in anticipation. The flakes on Wall Street were overinflating values like the new Messiah had come all the time gas prices were sky high and the resulting inflation from everyone's tranportation budgets hadn't really hit the radar yet.

When will these bozos learn? High energy costs = inflation that they can't keep ahead of with interest rate increases. This really isn't rocket science. It's going to get much worse. If precious metals were a bargain, I'd get into them but they're overinflated as well. I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't invest in entertainment stocks. From what I hear, it's the one thing the population spent their money on in the last Great Depression.
