Flight Sim 2004 is a major memory hog. It'll run by itself fine with 1 meg but it nearly takes it all. You try to do some other task while it's running and you're just asking for the BSOD. Since I'm creating actual scenery for the beast, I'll often have it running along with Photoshop or GMAX. With any less than 2 MB my case would melt. Also, why not 2MB. I think I paid $80 for all of it.

Vista should be quite the memory hog as well. Nothing wrong with keeping your rig a bit future safe.
