I have the Touch of Death on individual investments. If I bought gold tomorrow, the price of gold would be $150 an ounce by July. I bought a few shares of Krispy Kreme as a fun investment for my daughter.

So, aside from a similar "just for fun" stocks (well, Apple's done pretty well) I stick to mutual funds for the stock part of my portfolio, and much of that in vanilla index funds.
