Supposedly, Zarqawi was tracked down because he was betrayed by someone in his own gang. I think it's unlikely we would publicly reveal we had a mole in his organization if we did have one. It's much more likely we would say that just to cripple his outfit with suspicion and extra security measures if we didn't have a mole. It's highly possible that Z. was betrayed by a rival on his own team, or even by senior Al-Queda people jealous of his growing power. In any event, there's bound to be period of confusion and suspicion in his group now, let's hope it can be exploited.
