Of as much significance as the decapitation of leadership ranks is how it happened.

Summary
- US ambassador to Iraq making contacts with Iraqi insurgents to bring them into political process.
- Help from Jordan
- Insurgent informant
- Pissed off local informants
- Multiple raids gathering much intellegence at the same time.

These are the things you need to do to win this kind of war and it has taken far too long to get to this stage.

Looks like killing Iraqis and bragging about it is becoming a little more dangerous. Cowing the Iraqis IS NOT working (and that term has nothing to do with a former sarcastic zoner).
