Tom, indicted or not he's still a sleazeball.

I still don't understand how you can find joy in the blatantly sleazy politicos not getting their due. I have no clue if Rove did anything worthy of indictment but I do know the man is a bastard. He's admittedly the architect of some of the most dispicable campaign tactics of the last decade. Still, he's your guy so he must be supported. Don't take this as only an indictment of the right but of all Americans that somehow look beyond character of an individual because keeping that person's power is more important to the goals of the party they subscribe to.

I think Ted Kennedy should've been run out of town on a rail because of his early automobile incident despite the fact that he's wielded great power for the left in times when they're really needed it for balance. In spite of the fact that I loved Nixon's foreign policy decisions, I cheered when he left disgraced because his character flaws had been exposed. This guy Jefferson from Louisiana needs to be tarred and feathered. I just can't see why you can't understand that you can support the party while being critical of individuals.

I was delighted that Fitzgerald had Rove in for questioning not because I expected him to be indicted but simply because it shone the light on a person I truly don't care for and I knew he was squirming the whole time. An indictment would've simply been icing on the cake. I have the feeling the icing is still coming with other targets but if it doesn't pan out, so be it. Just nice to know those guys assholes are a bit more puckered.
