After the USA kicked Al Qaeda and their Taliban friends out of Afghanistan, both Al Qaeda and the Taliban promised rapid reprisals. They have not yet happened. I recall Mohammed Omar saying that the USA was doomed and would be destroyed real soon. It has not happened yet.

Oh, they will set off a few more bombs in marketplaces and mosques and claim a symbolic victory, but it will be the same old stuff. Why? Because it is all that they can do these days.
