Unfortunate
I think the "Mission to Planet Earth" type of thing is among the most important research NASA does.
What we see right here on the 'Zone is too typical of the larger debate...intelligent, well-trained and I'm sure well-intentioned people coming down on both sides of the issue. It puts the layman in a difficult position. We owe it to our kids to understand what's going on with our planet, and what role our civilization is playing in those changes.
