Careful, Tom, you can hurt yourself, talking out of both sides of your mouth like that.
Though the "other scientists" may not be climatologists, their work certainly involves climate, in many cases, and they are therefore qualified to report on their observations. Most of them will also have some significant understanding of the climatological issues, they don't operate in a vacuum.
