The theater count went from 77 (June 2 - 4) to 514 (June 23 - 25). This is an increase of almost 7 times (6.7 to be exact) in the number of theaters where it is playing.
The take per weekend went from $1,356,387 for the June 2 weekend, to $2,016,408 for the June 23 weekend, a factor of 1.5.
There is no real way to interpret that as good news. It means that Gore's film went from playing a few partly-full theaters to a big load of empty ones.
It gets worse if you compare the 4-theater numbers to the current ones.
