re: Voting security

While I think there is a REAL possibility of a GOP conspiracy that makes Diebold part of their national strategy, you'd have to watch the video to see where the flaws are. The "security tape" in the film was nothing more than a stick-on decal on a separate piece of paper (laughable), while there's a clip where the whole state can be analysed for votes and the numbers switched around with the GEMS program within 90 seconds. If you have cable or DSL, I highly recommend you at least listen to it while you work.

The original owner of Diebold did 18 months in jail for fixing an election.
He still owned it when it was selected by the republicans to be used for the election. When it bercame known, he was asked to step down and be replaced by Stooge #2. This administration has a poor track record for hiring criminals, incompetents and thieves.

What I found annoying is that people were voting for the democratic running mate, and it was showing up as the republican candidate instead, time and time again. There was no way to fix this during the actual election, nor is there any explanation for this. How many times have you gone on-line to order something, selected it and come up with another item?

None.

They can't even get their selections right. This whole thing IS a farce, from top to bottom and is (in my opinion), one of those GOP curve balls they forced on us before the 2000 elections.
