Speaking of Little Red Riding Hood
In the original versions, the wolf was actually an older man and the
story was a warning to young ladies about what such men really have
in mind when they are trying to be so "friendly".
In many cases, these original stories were warnings to protect young
children. Our ancestors had not yet been tainted with PCdom, but
often had to face the world and human society as it really is, not
with Disney sugar-coating.
