The titles sound good and romantic to those who live on the outer surface of their brains.
Comments on some of the categories:
1) Fighting for Economic Justice
--"Economic Justice" means what it has always meant, forced redistribution of wealth by various means. Same thing as "economic fairness," "social justice," "social responsibility," or any of the dozens of colors of lipstick used on that particular pig for many years. Socialists and liberals have spent decades and millions of words justifying why it is morally proper to strip wealth from someone they have declared doesn't deserve it, so they can hand it out to their chosen recipients. The "Robin Hood principle."
Making this global means simply fastening the lampreys of world socialist nations on the U.S. and sucking it dry. Anybody for a U.N. income tax?
--"freedom of association and the right to organize" translates into "forced unionization."
--Indexing the minimum wage to inflation is like connecting your car's accelerator to the speedometer.
2) Protecting and Preserving Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
--Destroy the Patriot Act.
--"reform our electoral process" except for anything at all that might reduce voter fraud.
--"ensure opportunity for all voices to be heard" Restore the Fairness Doctrine so we can finally wipe every last bit of that goddam talk radio out of existence again.
3) Promoting Global Peace and Security
--Surrender in Iraq, which somehow translates in leftist minds as "honoring our troops." After all, in the military, honor means coming back with a whole skin no matter what you have to give up to accomplish that. Right?
--"Rebuild U.S. alliances..." Crawl on our bellies to the French, the U.N., and every other smug group of continental parasites whose only major contribution to world peace for the past fifty years has been to sit in the bleachers and throw empty beer bottles at those doing the real work. They would probably be lampshades today if it weren't for the U.S. Could have been their finest hour.
4) Environmental Protection and Energy Independence
--Take control of every aspect of American energy use. Force cars off the road, force people into mass transit. Take control of the automobile industry. Pour billions in tax money into whatever pie-in-the-sky energy idea is the "tech of the week," while shackling conventional energy industries and domestic production. For God's sake, don't mention nuclear power. And don't build any of those bloody windmills in OUR neighborhoods. Our power comes from wall outlets, and we don't need them.
