S.O.S. Tom Brosz..............

Bail me out one more time, por favor. And I promise I will go back to being argumentitive, disputatious and contentious.

When I was in the 10th grade I had an English teacher that rankled the hell out of me. She kept giving us homework. She required us to learn poem after poem. I didn't want poetry, I wanted to play ball and swim. And to be eligible to do the things I wanted to do required doing Ms. Pinders bidding. All these years later, pieces of poems intrude into my counsciousness, sometimes appropriately, and sometimes not.

Usually, I recognize the poem and the author and have no trouble finding it. The operative word here is usually. I have a few lines that run through my mind and I think the poem might be appropriate to the arguments about immigration. I thought it might be by Robert Frost, but I can't find it. If you can I will not only praise your detective skills, but I won't pester you to do this sort of tasking---at least for a long time.

The remembered lines are:

"From the Rhine and the Seine
and the Tiber and the Alps
where the yodelers call.
they come o're the stormy Atlantic
American's All"

approaching with hat in hand, Publius
