re: Sad!
500 years ago a peasant could actually see stars when he stepped out of his hut. Today when I step out in my back yard I only see maybe 20 or 30 stars through the light pollution. The sky is so unimpressive now as to be ignored. Most people hardly look up, and have no interest in the night sky. They have no idea what is up there, and when we show people through a telescope they are amazed at what they see. I think most think it’s made up.
