That's a bit cryptic for me. All I know is that you tried to, uh, assuage, alcaray's nervousness about Bush's finger on the trigger by saying that "No Republican has ever dropped an atomic bomb on anyone.", as if to say that Republicans are somehow less belligerent than Democrats. Odd given the charge that Democrats are pacificists, but in any case substantively false when you consider how often Republicans would have used The Bomb if they'd had the power or steadier heads hadn't prevailed.
Remember Barry Goldwater? Now there's a Republican who was just itching to get his finger on that trigger. How do you think he'd have handled the Cuban Missile Crisis?
