I like McCain, he's my favorite Republican. He represents honest Republican values without the strident, ruthless and unprincipled ideology of the Neocons. But I am concerned about his military record. His service in a North Vietnamese POW camp revealed a man of enormous integrity and great courage, but I can't see how anyone could survive an experience like that without receiving some sort of internal damage which might manifest itself under stress later.
