Imagine there is a webpage somewhere
Imagine there is a webpage somewhere that provides decades of historical weather data, but only one day at a time. To get the temperature on such-and-such a date, you have to select the day, month, and year using three separate combo boxes, then click the 'get data' button. To collect 10 years of data would require something like 10,000 mouse-clicks. This is just an example. It could be any webpage with a preset way to access data.
I'm gonna be saving myself a whole lot of time if I can automate the process. Reading up on the subject, apparently VB 6.0 does provide some capability with internet access. Just have to figure it out.
