Corporations are going international to avoid taxes, unions, labor laws, and government regulation back home. Countries like China are building up their economies by providing an environment that is business-friendly, i.e., they are offering their populations for exploitation on the world market. This is The New World Order, folks, and the USA is doing everything it can to catch up.
