This just shows how even in our so-called modern age how desperate so
many people's lives are that they need to see signs in even most absurd-
seeming objects. Just look at that one woman in the article who felt that
it was a sign from God to turn her life around.

Since society isn't giving her much alternative to a better life, who are
we or anyone else to say that it's just a bunch of chocolate residue and
leave her swinging in the wind.

Yes, I know it is just a bunch of chocolate residue, but I would find myself
torn between revealing the truth to such a person and not offering any
useful alternatives to her and going along with the falsehood just to
maintain her illusion of hope.

There has to be another alternative.
