It's been out for awhile but I finally got around to seeing "V for Vendetta" last night. Wow, I heartily recommend it. I'm posting this in Flame because of the political message the movie puts out. The movie is set some 20 or 30 years in the future in a Great Britain where a fascist, fundamentalist regime has taken over. The US has dissolved and is in civil war. All of this has been brought upon by terrorist acts and the fear they produced.

I won't go into the details since they might ruin some surprises but the story line has a similar them to Citizen Kane or 1984.

I'd be interested to hear the reactions of our two sides to the movie. My guess is the reviews are going to fall along party lines.
