re: Excellent movie
I liked the movie, although the tweaking of the original plot to push the allegory of current events was a bit obvious. Just got the DVD and am looking forward to commentaries and background.
The original comic is superb. Written back when liberals in England were convinced that Margaret Thatcher and the inevitable nuclear war were going to bring the Long Night, it has much more detail and thoughtfulness than the movie.
