Look who's making the money. The Bush family has a HISTORY of sucking Americans dry out of their tax money (former Savings and Loan debacles from all three Bush brothers that I think ended up costing the American taxpayers $16 billion), when they defaulted on their loans after transferring their wealth into other companies/countries.
So now, with Bush running the country, all his defense buddies get lucrative contracts after dispersing bombs, tanks, guns and other assorted war-making hardware and then the "reconstruction" no bid contracts go to his VP's former company.
Yes, you CAN have it both ways. All you need is a little advertising sloganeering "freedom", "democracy", etc....swagger and tell 'em to "bring it on" and then throw a little machismo around on an aircraft carrier.
Works every time.
