.... And Onward To Mars
The original Orion was considered one of the best ways to get to Mars fast, using Nuclear Pulse Propulsion. So far no one has extended the Return to the Moon CEV designs with one that could go to Mars. Perhaps this is the unspoken intent, to revive the original Orion concept?
