When I was there, there was no $2 bill. There's a $2 coin, called the "toonie", because the $1 coin is called a "loonie", because it has an engraving of a loon (the bird) on its reverse. The smallest denomination of paper money in Canada is the $5 bill, and I couldn't tell you what's on it, other than QEII. I wish I had kept some samples, but I needed to convert every penny when I came back to the States.
Maybe Laurie or Jacob knows about the old $2 bill. Maybe it's old enough that it has the old colonial (pre-Maple Leaf) Canadian flag, with the Union Jack in the corner, indistinguishable in the engraving from the identically proportioned star-spangled blue quadrant of the US flag.
In other news...
As far as I know, race car is properly two words.
On the other hand, a case can be made for "Nyahk" being one syllable.
If the entire population of China walked past you in single file, when would they have time to reproduce? In public, with their neighbors watching???
