Colliders are cool. I heard that when they started crashing gold ions together at uber high temperatures, the resulting particles behaved pretty much like a perfect fluid. I don't recall where I read the article. I think it was off New Scientist off of the physics lab's web site.

Must have been RHIC. That sounds right. Above is a copy of the release. It was pretty sweet.
