Most of your points have some merit in terms of historical comparison, but I can't let "Same treatment of the local populations" pass without comment. A little over the top, Bowser, considering that arguably the most infamous crimes of all those committed by the Nazis were their subjugation, enslavement, and genocide of local populations.
Nope, that won't cut it. Sorry. I admit I'm motivated by enlightened self-interest, since I know that someday a Winger will throw your words in my face. They undermine your other words, too. I've said before that even though noting similarties in tactics and behavior between RightWingers and Nazis makes the Wingers damn uncomfortable, it's important not to be afraid to make them, as long as they're factual and not gratuitous slanders.
I've been on the subject of authoritarian conservatism a lot lately, and it's quite relevant to our situation today. The study of that pathology began shortly after World War II, in an attempt to try to understand what happened in Germany. The disease was deliberatly inflicted upon the German people by the Nazis, as a tool to attain power, and the outbreak of that same disease in America is cause for concern, and a legitimate topic of discussion among patriots.
I'm not trying to slow you down, Bowze, just trying to focus your energy. Slice 'em with the scalpel of the truth...most of the pellets from the shotgun of innuendo miss their mark and waste their energy.
