I heartily agree with your statement on newscasters. It's universal on cable and broadcast--they seem to think their heads will explode if they aren't talking. It's why I prefer NASA TV when I can get it.
Actually, I slept through the launch this morning. Only day all week I get to sleep in. Glad it got up there, and hope the mission goes smoothly.
Still waiting for the most important component to be launched someday--the Cupola!
