So Afghanistan wasn't a Bush operation? Best tell Woodward.

Anyone who was around after 9-11 and following the news knows better. Bush pushed the Afghanistan operations and promised the Afghanis the US would stay until they had democracy, freedom and women's rights. The US doesn't cut-and-run, he said, though the US seems to cut and run a lot. Ask the Kurds, ask the Hungarians.

Bush bribed NATO nations into coming along, and NATO did. Notice the UN didn't, but Bush can't control the UN yet.

But to say that Afghanistan is a NATO operation is ridiculous. NATO has operational command in the south for military operations, and they say they are being overwhelmed.

Bush has 20,000 troops in the north, allegedly looking for OBL. Who, by the way, are they fighting?

Tell me again that Afghanistan is a NATO operation, that NATO wanted the war, started the war, and NATO dragged the US into it mainly as a peacekeeper.

Love to hear it.
