Actually, the ozone hole has closed some.

And if this is due to less CFCâ€™s in the air, then I owe Al Gore an apology. I believe it was his name I cursed in the late 1980â€™s when I couldnâ€™t by R12 for my car anymore. Thereby having to drive without AC (I had a small leak in my system and I had to recharge it about once a year with R12. When I couldnâ€™t buy the stuff anymore, I drop 2K to get the leak fixed. This made me a poorer college student and it still didnâ€™t fix the leak).
