All climate models are primitive.
There is absolutely no way to determine what the effects of drastic intervention would be. Any policies based on any existing climate models are hence extremely likely to fail.
The best we can do is to reduce pollution -- stop crapping up the system. We do not know enough to control it and likely never will.
