Even if I granted that assumption about the oil companies, there are as many giant corporations that stand to gain from a large nuclear power program as there are those who will lose from it. Anyway, cars don't burn atoms, and you can't make plastic and fertilizer out of uranium, so oil companies will always make money.

France gets most of its power from nukes, and I don't think their oil companies are going broke.
