Man, that's a chilling thought, feeling like there's more credibility in foreign leaders than our own but I have to agree with you Bow that the tendency is there. All presidents and administrations have told white lies from time to time to keep citizens from panicking and as a tool for hard-ball diplomacy but the sheer volume of untruths from this bunch is unprecedented in modern times.

I am reserving the thought though that Musharraf's credibility always must be put under a microscope since he's one wrong limo turn away from a fiery grave if he doesn't keep the radicals in his homeland at least a tiny bit appeased and a statement like he made just might subdue them for awhile and put their target elsewhere.
