I looks to me like the only way out of this mess is going to be a massive deployment of UN troops to the West Bank and Gaza.

It's remarkable how fast this course was adopted in Lebanon, and how much effort has been spent by some in the US to frustrate the adoption of such a course in the West Bank and Gaza. Of course, if you had a UN deployment, not only would you have an end to terror strikes, but Israel would also have to stop stealing Palestinian land...

As far as our troops in Iraq goes, why did the government of Israel conclude that it was in Israel's interest to have US troops between Iran and Syria? Saddam had to go, but we could have taken out Saddam with air alone...

What a mess... so many lives ruined...
