Having been to Israel, I find your supposition misinformed and offensive.
Leave that aside!
Jews have owned all of the Holy-Land from Gaza to the Lebanese border,
upto about 1900 years ago when the bloody and brutal Roman army
committed near genocide on the Jews, driving most of the survivors
into slavery or exile.
The Arabs [Palestinians] are late-comers.
They first swept into what is now Israel in the 7'th century,
slaughtering Jews and Christians in horrific numbers remaining in
the land. Mohammed preached conversion by the sword;
the Koran confirms this.
In the 19th century, when the Turks illegally occupied the Holy-Land,
Mark Twain wrote that there were hardly any Arabs in what is now
the West Bank. ALSO, Most of Jerusalem them, as it is today, was and is
repopulated by the Jews; the Jews in Jerusalem being the majority in
the city then and now.
From the late 1800's until a little after 1929, Jews were the majority
in Hebron, a city on the West Bank.
Your idea of trading land for peace in Israel has been tried; starting
with Israel's withdrawl from Sinai in 1974 and from Jericho and Gaza
after the Oslo 'AGREEMENT'.
Yet Israeli Jews are finding themselves more strategically
and militarily vulnerable and less secure today than in 1967-1973.
