The amazing Story Musgrave

Tom Jones who shared Story Musgrave's last flight, Columbia STS 80 and longest duration for a shuttle, writes about STS 80 re-entry...
Story was supposed to sit alone in the Mid-deck during the fiery re-entry....
Instead, and against all rules, he stayed in the Flight-deck, gripping Cockrell's and Jones' seats and stayed there, standing up, filming, throughout the entire trip to the Cape!!!
He stood up, unattached, in his pressure suit, at 61, after 18 days of weightlessness, passing from 28,000 km/h to 0 km/h!!!
And there are times when the G forces are more than 1 G and not towards the floor.
But he knew NASA wouldn't let him fly anymore, so what the hell!

Chapeau, mr Musgrave!
