Yes, I recall him talking about an earlier flight when he did it.
During STS 6, he was quite younger, had no orange pressure suit on, had fewer days in weightlessness behind him.
I told Story's story (STS 80) to various friends and some had heard it from french astronauts who flew with NASA but they were told not to repeat it.
Story was a great asset to MC, indeed. A view also shared by Jones while they were both working there, together.
