Credibility

Tom, we can go back and forth, over and over about statistics and yet there's always the possibility that what you or some other person cites as the truth is just as biased or misleading as the assumption or the quote you're attacking.

Bottom line is if I see a statistic cited in a partisan piece, I question it no matter who is quoting it. I always put a grain of salt test on "facts and figures" regardless of their source and that includes government studies. You see Tom, the government studies also potentially carry the political leanings of who's in power when they're commissioned.

All I was pointing out is that your source to disparage Woodward was a right wing publication and that by constantly going to well to find them you lose your own credibility.

Let's face it. If you do a Google search for "Woodward bad guy" you're going to find damning evidence against the man as you would if you replaced the name with any other. The impression you give anymore is that you begin your searches with that criteria before you begin looking for balance. Quote all you want pal. Just don't be surprised if you simply elicit yawns.
