There is a concerted effort on the part of Bush & Co. to keep the truth from being known, including fighting that Commission all the way. Didn't want it established, didn't want it investigating, didn't release vital information.

The veracity of Rice is wide open to question, starting with her previous ignorance about terrorists flying planes into buildings. It takes a real stretch to believe she's so demented she doesn't remember the conversation with Tenet and Black.

Much easier to believe that Woodward the truth.

And, frankly, this is a lost cause with anyone who believed Bush wasn't lying when he said the US doesn't torture terror suspects.

Sigh. Yer gonna believe anything, and everything, they come down with. There's no discrimination, just blind acceptance. So be it.
