Rare and wonderful.

What kids! At the same time it makes one proud and sort of shames.

And the parents and family are busily practicing forgiveness, too. No "eye for an eye" there. They're accepting their loss, recognizing that whatever happens it will not bring back their children.

Rarely see such faith among Christians. I've always wondered why as a group they are so afraid to die. And so fast to seek revenge, as if that helped anything.

Seems to me that Muslims and Jews are far more likely to regard themselves expendable in the face of a larger struggle, or service to a higher power.

More power to the Amish, as if they needed it or I could grant it.
