On the other hand, we have plenty of years remaning to leave more elaborate, if not so strikingly large, artefacts on the Moon. Everyone's favorite Darkside radio telescope, for instance.

Shipping nukes to the Moon for disposal sounds a bit farfetched, I'm afraid... and/or a little too much like the premise for Space, 1999.
