What do Nordic state casualties have to do with anything?
The entire Scientific American article waved the "Nordic States" like a flag to prove their point that welfare works. My response is that it's damn easy for nations who have spent the last century on the sidelines of the defense of freedom to have the luxury of cushy social welfare programs. That's my premise.
You're the one who brought up war casualties--not sure why. So what WAS the number of people in the example Nordic countries that died in combat with the Nazis?
