You pay your taxes just like everybody else. A part of them goes to pay Grifin's salary.
By a bipartisan act of both the House and Senate, it's his job to deal with asteroid 2004 MN4, and with comet SW3. There's no need for you to wait until he reports to the members of both sides of the aisle on Feb 28, 2007.
You can call his office now. I don't think he'll lick the stamp, but I do think you'll at least get an answer. It's a part of his job, after all. By law.
