Telnet?

Crudest terminal emulator around, and it's built into Windows. Type 'telnet' at a DOS prompt. At the Microsft Telnet> prompt, type set ? to get a list of options. One is term x, where x is "ansi", "vt100", and "vtnt" (the latter is a proprietary Microsoft format). The DEC VT series of terminals were all based on the same protocol, so if you don't need a specific feature of VT420, VT100 might do it for you.

Business out of the way, I can say "oh, gag me!". What are you doing messing with glass teletypes in the 21st Century?
