Sequels
As you should know, originally the Star Wars series was planned as a 9-movie story epic, akin to the ring cycle. It started in the middle, more or less, and built out in both directions. At some point, the plan was curtailed to only six movies, so the second set of sequels died unborn, but not unimagined. That sucked.
The prequels, though. They sucked bigtime! Good job, in retrospect, that the sequels were never made (although they wouldn't have suffered the fatal problem of telling stories from the past towards a well-known present)
