It's really irrelevant whether he's in the Senate or not. What has he done there?
I've said before that leftists perceive the military as either pathetic dupes or baby-killers. Kerry just reinforced this. His hostile view of the military isn't news to anybody, and was the main motivation for most of the veterans who supported the Swift Boat organization.
