Are you saying that the military is stupid and they put the brightest new members in dangerous, relatively low skilled positions, while also putting members of lesser mental capabilties in safer positions requiring high degrees of intelligence?

Or that smart kids from wealthy families are flocking to enlist so they can go to Iraq to get blown up by IEDs or shot at by snipers?

What exactly is your point?
