My adopted son is Amerasian or I probably wouldn't know the difference myself. Why would that be so? I assume that to some Asians it makes them feel compared to a rug. I have never discussed it with Shane and I doubt he has an opinion one way or another
It was just an idle comment and not meant to be critical of you.
I am also annoyed by doctrines of pc and any reference to such faux pas are as much to point out the silliness as anything else.
